ActiMoss was born from the shared experiences of two friends navigating the relentless demands of their busy, active lives. They found themselves constantly grappling with fatigue, physical discomfort, and the effects of ageing. Realising they weren’t getting the essential minerals they needed from their diet, they sought out a natural remedy to restore their energy levels.
Their search led them to sea moss, a marine powerhouse renowned for its revitalising qualities and boasting up to 92 of the 102 minerals the body requires.
As they explored the wellness market, the founders noticed a glaring omission: sea moss was not being promoted to the UK South Asian community. Despite a rich cultural heritage rooted in natural health, this incredible resource was being overlooked for this demographic. ActiMoss was established to change that, ensuring the South Asian community across the UK had a brand that truly understood and spoke to them.
The founders were quickly disillusioned by the options currently available and the UK South Asian market felt the same.
Sea moss gels didn't have a great texture and a limited shelf life.
